If you have listened to or read SPC #1 this is a very different setting from that first book, but still incorporates the club. Garrett and Mia’s relationship is very different given that they are step siblings.
The narrators did an amazing job with both Mia and Garrets parts giving you that emotion you would feel if you read it for yourself.
I enjoyed that Mia wasn’t that perfect bodied girl that you typically think of in books she was flawed and loved to show off her flaws. Even though Mia is younger I enjoyed that she never gave off a sense teenage drama, very mature and understanding which made this age gap tolerable.
Garrett is a dream boat as expected. He comes off with a “I’ll take what’s mine” attitude and it is addicting. You learn he has his flaws throughout the book and how he grows from it.
Sara Cate is a wonderful writer! This book was addictive and spicy for those who love kick talk. However, not my favorite book in this series.
