Painful to say this but.......
I am one of those people that snatches up a Kristen Ashley book the second it hits the shelves. I have every book she has ever written so when this one was released I was thinking that I was going to be in heaven with a new great love story to listen to.... I couldn't tell you just how WRONG I was and how very disappointed I am! This book is nothing like her other books! To put it bluntly - it is awful! It reads like an autobiography of an 80's band. The story is told through "interviews" with band members talking to a reporter about their past. Whoever thought that this would be a good concept for a romance was kidding themselves! This has totally ruined me for buying her books the second they hit the shelves! From now on I will visit the brick and morter book store and read the first chapter of a new book before I even consider buying it to see if I am going to get this kind of totally unreadable crap again when I was expecting an epic romance story
