Christian community building

As someone who is no longer a part of the church, this was pretty difficult to relate to at times. It felt very bias from a Jesus-loving, and incredibly extroverted perspective (and I am a flaming extrovert myself). I wish the summary had eluted to how religiously centered this book is. Having grown up in a Christian community, I can attest to how “finding your people” is a feat become significantly more accessible… especially when surrounded with so many like-minded individuals. I got a small, few takeaways. Overall, I don’t feel my Christian sister who is an introvert or non-Christian friends would be open to the delivery of the messages this book offers because of the exclusive perspective it’s delivered from. I can appreciate the passion, honesty and genuinity of the author. She writes from the heart and shares her personal truth.
