A Tremendous Story, Beautifully Narrated
The lives of Americans identifying as LGBTQ has improved greatly since 1978, the year in which “Finding the Grain” begins. The novel accurately depicts that societal evolution up to it’s ending in 2014. Wynn Malone sets that evolution in the southern states which makes the story more interesting to me since it is unfamiliar.
