More Joy Delivered! Fantastic Story, Narration & Multi-Cast Production🎧
Lauren Blakely delivers more joy by taking another oldie-but-goodie, “Forbidden Nights”, an amazing novel first published in 2014, switching to first person POV, then having the audiobook re-recorded into an exceptional multi-cast production and performances that keep you riveted to the story. The talented cast led by Andi Eloise and Sean Masters performing the roles of the two lead characters, Casey Sullivan and Nate Harper, supported by a multi-cast, including Samantha Brentmoor and J.F. Harding, who perform the roles of the secondary and side characters. All deliver a perfect portrayal of their characters and an entertaining performance that elevates this already amazing story to another level.
This second book of the “Joy Delivered” duet follows soon after the first book, “Nights with HIm” ended, Jack Sullivan and Michelle Milo’s story. Jack, former CEO of a company producing adult toys, had handed that position to his sister Casey, who was running the company with him. Nate is Jack’s friend who runs a hotel empire, and he and Casey have become good friends, too. Casey confides in Nate about her failure to keep a romantic relationship and they come up with a plan that he’d teach her how to be more submissive. But not all goes as planned when their feelings get in the way, feelings he was hiding and ones she did not know she had. The chemistry between these two was off the charts and I thought they were great together and for each other. What started as a temporary arrangement became so much more, but then they let their insecurities and past demons get in the way. I loved how this story unfolded, with the perfect balance of drama, low angst, heartfelt emotions, steamy scenes and a romance that was everything. Lauren Blakely, thank you for another wonderfully entertaining story and emotional rollercoaster ride, and a gem of a listen.
