I only read the first chapter, but that was amazing!
This book might be the funniest book I have ever read and I've only actually seen the first chapter.
For the easily-offended, Auslander is anathema. However, for listeners/readers who can put up with his achingly realistic outlook on God, "Foreskin's Lament" is a long, rewarding journey filled with dark comedy. Shalom is up there with David Sedaris.
This was one I couldn't stop listening too. Its amazing how close experiences can be no matter what is applying the oppressive faith based guilt... buy it.
