Wish I could give 4.5/5. Voice actors did really well. If you like dark romance you will maybe like this one it is not that dark tho. Compared to the dark romance ‘Little stranger’ this is a little more relaxed in darkness. However lots of spice, with man on man spice as well. Not 5/5 because I personally don’t like for lack of a better word “sensitive” FMC. She needed a lot of reassurance and validation from the men. I like a stronger FMC like from book ‘Quicksilver’ . But loved it overall!
Not a love story
This is definitely like a reverse harem style spicy book, I wanted to read it because I love dark romance and enemies to lovers style stories, but didn’t realize there was going to be multiple characters involved with each other.. if you know what I mean. So if you’re into that sort of thing definitely give it a go, I just wish in the description it gave us some sort of warning this wasn’t a 2 person love story. Just from the first few chapters it seems to be lacking in a lot of the substance of story, just a lot of spice, so again if you like that you’ll like it lol, just not for me. Audiobook wise: the characters lacked a lot of emotion in their acting. It would be like “he exclaimed!” But then the reader is just deadpan.
Spicy
This is a super fun and super spicy book. I gave it only 3 stars because where it didn’t lack spicy scenes, it did lack substance. It’s almost too much!
