Great book
I enjoyed this and learned a lot of great tools to deal with hurt.
Need. An. Editor. And. A. Professional. Voice. But otherwise not bad.
To the author: congratulations on a well-researched and well-meaning book on a difficult topic, a topic which deserves much more attention than it tends to garner. Over all I think the message is sound and can be helpful.
2 pieces of constructive criticism:
1) you need a better editor: the book is overly wordy, meandering and somewhat indirect in reaching its ends. You need a skilled editor to better trim the fat out of the writing and to better streamline the message
2) for the audiobook: you need to hire a professional to recite it. Your reading style — while I’m sure comes from your heart — is overly plaintive and pleading. It’s grueling to listen to your dramatic pauses, sometimes sounding like a period. After. Each. Word.
Thank you for writing it.
Maybe a revised edition could correct the flaws.
Was not what I was expecting
It was a very hard listen and found it hard to follow.
