Awesome Story & Narration🎧 A Heartfelt Delight!

The Boys of the Bayou has become one of my favorite RomCom series, the characters and their storylines are not only awesome but they are entertaining and enjoyable from start to end. Erin Nicholas is a gifted author, she created a wonderful world down in the Bayou and filled it with equally wonderful characters. I enjoy her writing style and I love how much heart she puts into her stories and her ability to find the perfect balance of drama, humor and romance. I was happy that Mitch was getting his own book and wow, what a darling of a guy he is, easy going with a big heart who puts other’s needs and wants in front of his own. He met the girl, even had thoughts of leaving Autrey to be but he knew she was not looking for anything long term. Paige Asher, small town girl from Appleby, Iowa, cat lover and friend of Tori, her former Veterinarian. Paige is not the marrying kind, except her mother and grandmother did not get that memo, nor did several men, she has multiple proposals, even accepted one but she just could not go thru with it. When Paige and Mitch first met there were instant sparks that led to a hot fling, they kept in touch after and she agreed to be his guest for Tori and Josh’s wedding. Sick of the pressure and the proposals she decided to get away and drive down to stay with Mitch three weeks earlier than planned. He was happy to see her but he had to refrain from showing his enthusiasm because he did not want to scare her away, she is sticking to her “I am not looking for a serious relationship”. He even gets advice from Ellie, actually good advice and she even gets others to go with her idea. Paige took over Kennedy’s job at the office and she fit in nicely with all Landry’s, even found out that as much as she was opposed to weddings she was a good wedding planner and she gave good advice on what the girls should do for their weddings, instead of separate ones merge them all together for a family Bayou wedding. She also wants instruct for yoga classes, she told Mitch about the cat yoga and he suggested an Otter yoga, LOL. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is both cleverly and beautifully plotted and there is never a dull moment. So many laugh out loud moments as well as heartfelt and emotional ones. It was great to see everyone again too. Erin Nicholas, thank you for another amazing story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Alan Carlson and Lili Valente are talented narrators and voice artists. They go a great job portraying these characters, humanizing them as they bring them and their story to life. I love how they take each role and make it their own sounding natural and believable in that role. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They set the perfect tone of the story, handle the witty dialogue effortlessly and land the humor without missing a beat. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
