Love this mafia series on audio!!
Audiobook review: Narrated by Jason Clarke and Veronica Fox
Even though mafia romance is not my go-to trope, this book (series) is one of my favorites of the year. After reading book one, I couldn't wait to get to Gabriela and Enzo's story. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. The amount of possessiveness, and suspense and violence that you would expect in a mafia romance is here is droves. I was enthralled from the beginning and didn't want to turn it off.
The narration was top tier. Veronica Fox is not a narrator I've listened to much but her voice was so beautiful to listen to for long periods of time. This is so important to me as I seriously binged this story in a matter of hours. This was the second audiobook, back to back in a couple of days, that Jason Clarke narrated the MMC. It is a testament to his talent that he could take two vastly different characters and bring them to life in such a believable way. He is one of my top male narrators for a good reason.
I can't wait to dive into the next book!
Dark and Spicy Mafia Listen
Fractured Secrets is a book that intrigued me since meeting Gabriella and Enzo in book 1. An unlikely pairing that had smoldering chemistry and was perfect for one another. Lorenzo "Enzo" Caruso is your ruthless mafia boss who is protective, possessive, and unforgiving. Gabriella Ferrari was bold, fierce, sassy, and independent. I found myself invested in these characters and wanted them to be open with their feelings. This was truly a captivating and well-written mafia book and the spice was so good!
Narrators Veronica Fox and Jason Clarke gave stellar performances and feel like they were able to voice the characters exactly as needed. They had me feeling every emotion and not wanting to pause the book.
Obsessed!
This book was everything and more. I thought the first book was my favorite, but then I listened to this one and I was left speechless. I’m obsessed with Gabriela and Lorenzo’s romance. This audio book is an addiction. The narrators just fit perfectly with the characters and both voices are beautiful. The story was everything my naughty self needed and the ending was just perfection. I highly recommend the audiobook, because it’s just so worth listening to it. If you do like audiobooks then definitely pick up this series. It’s so worth every penny.
