Beautiful from the Ashes
This book stole my heart! Just the right amount of angst and suspense along with a true story of the heart, how such huge losses doesn’t mean you can’t live and love. Catherine Cowles has this beautiful and amazing way with words that beings you to her world and makes you feel that you’re a part of it and never want to leave.
Amazing new series coming from Catherine Cowles!
This is another amazing world, and family of characters, built by Catherine Cowles. Anson and Rhodes are the type of characters that have broken pieces to their souls. I thought Rho was incredibly strong and fierce, despite the tragedy that happened to her and her family. Even though she still carried it with her, I felt the hope under the surface. It was just waiting to break free. Anson had lived through his own tragic loss and felt a mountain of responsibility on his shoulders. It was really heartbreaking to feel his pain and everything that he went through in his former life. I loved the connection between these two. It was strong and palpable anytime they were near each other. This entire story was so intricately woven throughout every page. I get so mesmerized by the suspense and underlying stories, that I am constantly changing my mind about what I think will happen. And once again, I never guessed it. Catherine is a wonderful writer. One of a kind storyteller.
