Shut your mouth, whoever you are, Mr./Mrs. Calcutta!
Why do you want to spread wrong information on iTunes? Ravi Shankar learnt from the great Allauddin Khan saheb and everyone in the world (including India) knows how much Raviji has contributed to Indian classical music. It is good if you shut your mouth and say things like Sabir Khan is better than Zakir Hussain etc. That is complete unnecessary. I have over 1000 albums of Indian classical music and have heard all the artists that you talk about.
That apart, this audiobook features a very good interview with the Godfather of World Music - Pandit Ravi Shankar and his daughter, the maestro in making, Anoushka Shankar.

Ravi Shankar is NOT the world's leading Sitar player. That is Vilayat Khansahab. He learned many things from him. Vilayat Khansahab developed the Gayaki style for Sitar, which Ravi Shankar uses. People need to get more educated on Indian music before commenting. It takes years to learn just the basics of Classical Indian music.
