Publisher Description
The memoirs of Lieutenant-General James Longstreet contains much of historical interest. He provides a personal account of the progress of the Civil War, plus a wealth of anecdotes about Robert E. Lee and his officers. Longstreet was the commander of the Confederate Army's First Corps, which fought through most of the major wartime campaigns.

Very interesting and well done, with one error
A good audiobook, but as of July 2021 there is an error on Track 45 at about 1:30 where the voice actor trips up and resets, which should be edited out. It is quite louder on volume than the rest of the audiobook and could startle the listener. Thank you.
As I have not read the original work myself, I can’t attest to whether or not this reading is in fact unabridged, but I didn’t hear anything to indicate that it was anything but. A very interesting listen for the student of the American
Civil War, albeit with the caution one must always take with primary source documents.
