Publisher Description
The Mongol army led by Genghis Khan subjugated more lands and people in 25 years than the Romans did in 400. In nearly every country the Mongols conquered, they brought an unprecedented rise in cultural communication, expanded trade, and a blossoming of civilization.
Vastly more progressive than his European or Asian counterparts, Genghis Khan abolished torture, granted universal religious freedom, and smashed feudal systems of aristocratic privilege. From the story of his rise through the tribal culture to the explosion of civilization that the Mongol Empire unleashed, this brilliant work of revisionist history is nothing less than the epic story of how the modern world was made.

What a legend
His life is so unbelievable and the way he rose to power and his brilliant mind make the book so amazing. To dive deep in his mind and get where he was coming from and what he wanted for his people you can’t help but be in awe of his accomplishments
Very interesting!
I thought I understood who they were because of movies and stories. Now I see him as a Great War leader not just the “evil” guy people made him out to be.
Story not tainted by European Historian
It is nice to read a piece of history not tainted by European prejudice..
