But she can't do it without the help of ex-CIA agent Julian Aries, a man who once betrayed her. With Julian as an unwilling conspirator, the couple goes undercover to face ghosts old and new, an unsolved murder and a clever gang of fake psychics. But as Anne and Julian put their lives on the line, the icy chill of danger and a powerful desire they can no longer deny force them to confront the greatest unsolved mystery of all, their unlikely love.

Another good oldie!
I enjoyed this audiobook but would like iTunes to include the unabridged version of this book. A lot is lost in the cuts.
80's style battle of the sexes romance
Back in the 80's, when Krentz wrote this, battle of the sexes styles romances were in, and so that is what was published. It is like any romance...if the guy is a huge douche and the woman seems fine with all her opinions and requests being ignored, because she "loves" him. In this day and age, it comes off as a creepy, emotional abusive relationship. If you want to get better, download her works under the name "Amanda Quick" or one of her 90s Krentz audiobooks. I reccomend "Trust Me" "Light in Shadow" or my favorite, "All night Long" .
