A great addition to the series!
The tone seems different, I would not say it’s bad and certainly with the cost, but it is different.
The man depicted in the first two (DBDA) and then is segments of the third is different from the man I hear portrayed in this one. Without many spoilers he seems more brash and less cautious as stands is great contrast with say his escape from the helicopter crash. Also the writing seems different as well the descriptive words at times get repetitive and encounters seem lightly forced. For example on the submarine he told the ops team “have a 10 foot bubble around you so things don’t grab you from windows and cars” but in this iteration it seems he ignores his own very good advice. Gets tackled and grabbed more often. I am no author and I am simply a guy in school to become a cop so I sincerely meant what I said the book is good, just different.
Best zombie series out there! So well written an narrated!
