APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
In this mesmerizing thriller, newly minted US Marshal Andrea Oliver is sent on a routine assignment to protect a federal judge, only to be distracted by a decades-old cold case. For Andrea, it’s personal—because her imprisoned, psychopathic father knew the victim. Thriller master Karin Slaughter skillfully alternates between Andrea’s investigation in the present day and the dark events that took place 40 years ago. We were rapt and horrified as the story unfolded, desperate for Marshal Oliver to find the answers. Veteran narrator Kathleen Early’s expert sense of pacing made us feel every ounce of suspense. Whether or not you’ve listened to other books in the Andrea Oliver series, Girl, Forgotten is sure to hook you.

Loved listening to it. It was engaging and the path to the end was captivating.
5 stars
Great book! Absolutely loved the way the writer built all the characters from beginning to end. I also loved the fact that I did not predict the ending whatsoever. Must read!
Finally!
Finally a KS book where the bad guys pay for their crime and not take the easy way out! I thoroughly enjoyed both Andrea’s POV and Emily’s.
