Glimmers of You: The Lost & Found Series, Book 3 (Unabridged‪)‬

This is another amazing installment in Catherine Cowles’ Lost & Found series and it was just as amazing as books 1&2! I was instantly hooked and couldn’t get enough.

This fake dating story was beautifully chiseled and I fell hard for both Caden and Grae! With sparks flying between them (the sizzle factor is *chef’s kiss*!) and a touch of suspense, this story had me all wound up and didn’t want to let me go!

With the added Type 1 Diabetic rep, this book really became a favorite for me. I love a good small town romance and Catherine Cowles nails it every single time.

And can we talk about the epicness that is Joe Arden + Erin Mallon? Those are some amazing narrators and when I say that they bring all the feels to the story, they bring all👏🏼the👏🏼feels!!!! They truly nailed every emotion and I couldn’t get enough.

I am looking forward to Roan’s story next!!!!

Another amazing addition to the Lost & Found series that had me hooked from the very beginning, this book was simply addicting!!

Grae is a character I absolutely adore, she is such a strong heroine and despite her type 1 diabetes, she is always risen to strive, to survive and to live her life the best way she can. She has the love of her family and friends but there is a special connection she is missing in her life and that is Caden Shaw. Once upon a time Grace and Caiden had each other but everything change after his sudden and inexplicable departure. After many years he is back in her small town of Cedar Ridge and she doesn't know how to feel about that, until they need each others help.

Caden has experience lost and is afraid of open up his heart. Grae has always had a power over him and this terrifies him. Caden's walls are super high but while he is trying very hard to ignore his feelings towards Grae, things happened and the are now faking a relationship in order to help their personal reasons. When weirds things start occurring affecting Grae's safety, Caden doesn't hesitate to protect Grae but by doing this he needs to stay close to her, making it harder to fight the intense feelings he has always had towards his best friend's little sister.

This story is swoony and perfect in every way. The suspense will keep you guessing until the very end and trust me you will be shock, (I was).

Catherine Cowles continues to blow me away with another exceptional romantic suspense novel, a love story like no other with a side of thrilling suspense, and I love how she masters both genres. Once I started the book, I could not stop and the only thing that mattered was what was happening next. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. Caden Shaw may have been Grae Hartley’s brother’s best friend, but the two of them shared a special bond and friendship. Caden lost his sister, Clara, to cancer and that changed something in him and when Grae fell ill while they were hanging out, something broke in him, something that caused him to disappear. He returns to Cedar Ridge when his father beckons him home and, as much as Grae wants to ignore him, she just can’t. Caden’s father gives him a hard time about his playboy ways and wants him to settle down. He also likes to see his two sons go up against each other competitively, and nothing good comes out of it. He and his brother are at constant odds and his brother’s animosity towards him has gotten worse. When he finds out a guy Grae dated is giving her a hard time, he comes up with the fake relationship plan, it would get his father off his back and her ex off of hers. She was not sure if she could do it, but went along with it. When someone has it out for her, he goes into protective mode. They do not know who is targeting her or why, except that it is escalating. I loved how everything played out in this book, the writing and plotting is fantastic, as is the world building and character growth and development. There are many layers to the story and the characters, the drama is non-stop, the mystery of who is after Grae keeps you thinking and the thrilling and suspenseful moments take you to the edge of your seat. I also loved how much heart went into this story, the emotions pour off the pages and straight to your own heart. It was great to be back and spend time in Cedar Ridge with some of my favorite characters. Catherine Cowles, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧I listened to the audible edition and, once again, Catherine Cowles chose the perfect cast to bring her characters and story to life. The superbly talented Joe Arden and Erin Mallon did an amazing job portraying these characters and humanizing them. Their character voices were consistent and spot-on, with each one fitting that character’s persona, making them believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured the character’s emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
