Audio adds new enjoyment to the stories
I love the In Death series. I wish they'd make movies, but audio is the next best thing. I didn't like Peabody's "voice" as its not how I imagined it, but other than that, I enjoyed it.
Another entertaining "In Death" book
I know there are some people that do not like the way Susan Ericksen reads Peabody's parts but I think its great. This book started out a little slow for me but when it hit its stride boy it was good. Thanks again for another really entertaining book. I just bought book 3 and can't wait to start it.
Glory in Death
I agree that Peabody is read very well & enjoy the quirky way she sounds. It goes so well with her personality and "free-ager" upbringing. I am on Betrayal in Death #12 and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one thus far! I am so thrilled to have discovered this series I can't put it in words. I love the way Susan reads all of the rich & lovable characters. I have had a total knee and total hip replacement in the last year and walking, usually with my 2 little dogs, is my only form of physical therapy. These have made me walk farther and longer just continuing to listen. I will read every single one and fully expect to love them all!
