Hugh Bonneville does an excellent job at bringing all the characters to life. His Goldfinger accent was subtle and well thought through. He is having fun with all the characters and accents, and he shines during the action scenes. Mr. Bonneville’s poised manner of reading almost makes one overlook Fleming’s outdated depiction of damsels in distress. It is refreshing to hear Mr. Bonneville’s range. He certainly did justice to Fleming in every way. A joy to listen to.
