Publisher Description
"Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.
In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner—are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side... and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

Customer Reviews
Movie ready book with amazing narrators!
Great narrators that made me wish this was an actual movie! I was constantly listening to this every free moment I had. Bones is the latest in my “touch her and die” book boyfriends. He reminds me of Spike from Buffy (minus the rapey arc they pulled in the TV show. Writers definitely did Spikes character dirty) Anyways, the chemistry between Cat and Bones is great, although sometimes I wanted to shake Cat by the shoulders on how she would act towards the ever-so-charming Bones and don’t even get me started on her mom. No love from me there. Overall this was a great, fun read and I’m excited and grateful to see that there are more Nights Huntress books. Already listening to the second book, One Foot in the Grave.
Plot forward with spice and my new favorite series.
Real close but not quite
Not too bad but another MC who you want to like and try to like but just can’t quite get it done. Another series that won’t get past book 1
