BOOK 3 IN THE IRON DRUID CHRONICLES
Thor, the Norse god of thunder, is worse than a blowhard and a bully - he’s ruined countless lives and killed scores of innocents. After centuries, Viking vampire Leif Helgarson is ready to get his vengeance, and he’s asked his friend Atticus O’Sullivan, the last of the Druids, to help take down this Norse nightmare.
One survival strategy has worked for Atticus for more than two thousand years: stay away from the guy with the lightning bolts. But things are heating up in Atticus’s home base of Tempe, Arizona. There’s a vampire turf war brewing, and Russian demon hunters who call themselves the Hammers of God are running rampant. Despite multiple warnings and portents of dire consequences, Atticus and Leif journey to the Norse plain of Asgard, where they team up with a werewolf, a sorcerer, and an army of frost giants for an epic showdown against vicious Valkyries, angry gods, and the hammer-wielding Thunder Thug himself.
Don’t miss any of Kevin Hearne’s phenomenal Iron Druid Chronicles novels:

Hammered
Fabulous series, but not kid appropriate. Sex. Nudity. Adult themes and issues.
Hammered
This is the best book series I've heard in a while! Fans of Jim Butcher need to check this guy out! Quick witted and light hearted!
Atticus gets serious
This book is just as witty and entertaining as the previous two, albeit, a bit darker. This book is all about revenge and Atticus keeping his word to Leif. After being warned by both Jesus and the Morrigan, Atticus allows himself to get drawn into Leif's revenge plot against Thor. This book is different from the first two books because we do not see much of the Widow or Oberon and we miss their comedic commentaries. What take their place are new characters who also want revenge against Thor. Atticus is still witty and humorous but this book sets up serious events for the future. It's clever and fast paced, but it does slow down a bit in the middle for storytime. This is a great series and I recommend it to anyone who likes a bit or paranormal in a normal world.
