Cal and Jill
I must admit, I am a bit of a remodeling show geek. Maybe that’s why this book grabbed my attention. I really liked the idea of two companies going head to head in a competition. How would I judge something like that? The fact that one of the companies is all women just added another layer to the story. And I hadn’t even met the players yet!
Let’s just say that Cal and Jill are combustible. They have a past, they hate each other (sorta), and they are both as stubborn as mules. Throw in some needy, quirky relatives, a few great friends, a wise old aunt, and maybe even a ghost, and Kim Law has another winner here!
Grab this story and take a trip down to Texas. You won’t regret it!

Great Read!
Great read! I love the three female characters and their foster mother, Blu. This story centers around Jill and Cal. Competitors in a construction contest and ex’s ( having had a 24 hr marriage). Lots of fun dialogue and painful, but compelling history. Hope Ms Law shares the other ladies stories with us soon!
