Close your eyes and enter the magical world of Harry Potter. In these editions, Jim Dale's characterful narration is so entertaining, fun, and theatrical you can almost hear the crackle of the fire in the Gryffindor common room.
The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter - but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through - alive!
Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.
APPLEย BOOKS REVIEW
Let the games begin! The fourth book in J.K. Rowlingโs beloved series ramps the adventure up as Hogwarts prepares to host the Triwizard Tournament, an epic competition of wizarding skill featuring top students from three renowned schools of magic. Although Harry is too young to compete on Hogwartsโ team, heโs eventually thrust into the tournamentโand into harmโsย way. We were riveted as Harry tackles one dangerous test after another. And fantastic new characters like Mad-Eye Moody and Rita Skeeter give narrator Jim Dale even more chances to showcase his own magical abilities with a host of new voices that capture the imagination. Goblet of Fire is kinda the seriesโ version of The Empire Strikes Back: an intense middle act that stands on its own and shines brightly.

Pretty Good
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was a pretty good book, but not the best. Someone I know had told me that this was the best HP book, and I am afraid to say that I do not agree. The whole idea of the Tri Wizard Tournament is pretty cool, and The graveyard scene was interesting also. But, it was not as good as read as The Sorcererโs Stone, The Order of the Phoenix, or The Half-blood Prince. I am going to listen to Deathly Hallows soon, and hopefully it is better then this one.
