APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Let the games begin! The fourth book in J.K. Rowling’s beloved series ramps the adventure up as Hogwarts prepares to host the Triwizard Tournament, an epic competition of wizarding skill featuring top students from three renowned schools of magic. Although Harry is too young to compete on Hogwarts’ team, he’s eventually thrust into the tournament—and into harm’s way. We were riveted as Harry tackles one dangerous test after another. And fantastic new characters like Mad-Eye Moody and Rita Skeeter give narrator Jim Dale even more chances to showcase his own magical abilities with a host of new voices that capture the imagination. Goblet of Fire is kinda the series’ version of The Empire Strikes Back: an intense middle act that stands on its own and shines brightly.
Customer Reviews
Great book and a great series but expensive
I love the series. I love this book in particular. However I do find $40 for a digital download to be a little excessive on a book that was ipublished nearly 20 years ago. Also why is there not a box set for the audiobooks? I actually I have first three download it from a long time ago but would buy the whole set if it knocked some of the price down.
So Expensive
I keep waiting for the price to go down but all it does is go up. Started at $30 now it’s at $40. Just ‘wow’.
Aside from that, I agree with a few of the other reviews, some of the pronunciations are different. They get kind of distracting and break you out of the flow of the story.
This book is a great book to read if you want to learn
This book is about a young boy named Harry Potter that goes to a magical school.
