Publisher Description

Many kids claim to have seen ghosts in all sorts of places - cemeteries, bedrooms, attics, schools, roadways, forests, caves. Often, experts were called in to investigate these apparent hauntings, and most of the time these so-called experts walked away baffled. The only thing that everyone could agree on was that something very weird had happened, something that could never be fully explained.

This first book in Allan Zullo's popular Haunted Kids series is a collection of 11 creepy tales inspired by real-life cases taken from the files of noted ghost hunters. Do ghosts really exist? Well, you'll have to decide that for yourself after listening to such stories as:

"What Happened to a Boy Who Knocked Over a Cemetery Gravestone"
"How a Friendly Ghost Saved a Baby's Life"
"What Evil Force Lurked in the Attic of a Creepy House"
"Why the Spirit of an Alley Cat Haunted Three Teens"
"How Campers Haunted by a Ghost Solved a Century-Old Murder"
So, turn out the lights, turn up the volume, and turn loose the terror!

ES the horror fan ,

This needs to be an ebook!

I’ve never listened to Haunted Kids as an audiobook any more than I’ve read it as an ebook. But I HAVE read a paperback edition that I’m proud to admit that I actually own! It makes it very obvious to me how unfortunate it is that this book is not available as an ebook. Written by Bruce Nash, Allen Zullo, and Ray Villwock, this is a compelling collection of 11 terrifying ghost stories, including The Devil’s Garden, Grave Consequences, The Headless Trainman, The Home Wrecker, and The Thing in the Attic, among other chilling tales! The most exciting, intriguing, terrifying thing about the book is the fact that the stories are all true! The audiobook might be fun to listen to, but I can guarantee you that the same is true of the book, and with good reason—the book is spooky! I’m an adult who loves to read horror books, whether they are for kids, teenagers, or adults. I’m writing this review near the end of September, 2020. Take it from me. I like reading print books, but if you’re looking for fun, creepy reading during the Halloween season, you’ll love Haunted Kids, whether you listen to the audiobook, or read either a kindle or a print book! This is simply a fantastic book for fans of ghost stories, no matter how old you are! So, I will happily repeat my opinion that I began this review with: THIS NEEDS TO BE AN EBOOK!!!

The stories are GREAT, the reader is TERRIBLE!

This guy sounds like Will Ferrell the way he exaggerates and makes every story sound like a big joke, not scary at all, and completely takes away from the stories. I wish I never bought the audio book and just bought the book itself...WHAT A WASTE! Stay away!
