This is my second time rating a book this low; it’s no coincidence that the first time was for the book “Phantom” by the same author. 😑
I decided to listen to this, ignoring my favorite book reviewers’ warnings on how bad it is-serves me right I suppose🙄
D*mn you, curiosity.
So what is the hype about? Someone please tell me. Like reach out to me and tell me. Am I missing something here??? How did this book become such a big deal?!?
Anyways… 😒 here’s my subjective opinion on everything:
The writing: Below mediocre.
The characters: Lack depth.
The “Romance”?: non existent because it’s extremely immature and uninteresting.
The “spice”: *yawn.
The audiobook:
The narrators did a good job I suppose, but I their narration style just didn’t do it for me. Like, at all.
DNF at 35%.
