Huge disappointment

I love HBRs podcasts and articles, so I went into this with high hopes and expectations... Unfortunately, the narration was dry, monotone, and robotic. Also, the material came across as quite basic for anyone mid-level; who has spent 5+ years in the workforce. The articles felt like they were all written in the 1950s by straight white men...too many references to sports, wives, etc. I just couldn’t relate. It felt like I wasted my money on getting mansplained at by an audiobook.
