As captains of their respective teams, Shane and Ilya are each other’s fiercest competitors, both on the ice and in the public eye. But that just makes their electrifying attraction to each other all the more impossible. We loved the way this novel tweaks the typical enemies-to-lovers format, replacing the trope’s usual hatred with a searing professional rivalry that fills Shane and Ilya with explosive frustration and adoring awe—both of which pave the way for knee-buckling steaminess after the buzzer. But as red-hot as it is for two supposed adversaries to hook up in secret, a yearning for tenderness begins quietly underscoring their rivals-with-benefits arrangement, forcing them both to confront what they really want. The sultry bass of Tor Thom’s lush narration is an ideal fit for this irresistible listen.

Oh man oh man
What a delightful book! I’ll be honest, like many folks I’m sure, picked this up to read after the show came out but this was such a great listen. I’ll admit the narrator left a little more to be desired when it came to accents and inflections but the text was sweet and good and hot (when appropriate). I love queer media and I know I will be picking up the next one. I’ll write a more in depth review on Margins but I totally recommend it !! <33

This is the kind of story that leaves you breathless and questioning how anything else could compare… in real life
Great Story - RUINED by the Narrator
The narrator is SO bad. His ridiculous vocal performances for various characters completely undermine the whole thing. I love the story. I loved the tv show adaptation. This audiobook needs to be re-recorded to do it justice.
