Publisher Description
The Eagles are the bestselling, and arguably the tightest-lipped, American group ever. Now band member and guitarist Don Felder finally breaks the Eagles’ years of public silence to take fans behind the scenes. He shares every part of the band’s wild ride, from the pressure-packed recording studios and trashed hotel rooms to the tension-filled courtrooms and from the joy of writing powerful new songs to the magic of performing in huge arenas packed with roaring fans.
Customer Reviews
A compelling listen about someone with limited self awareness
I give it a four star review because it's incredibly entertaining and hard to stop listening to if you care about music. I give it a one star in terms of utter lack of self-awareness by Don Felder. In so many ways, he's a tragic figure, but the picture he nonetheless paints, for those who are willing to put aside their feelings about how he handles things, is extremely compelling. You can see why he had so much talent, and you can also see why he probably drove the other members of the band crazy.
