Customer Reviews
It was okay.
Theodora Taylor is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine because of her unique books. I really wanted to like this book more, but had a hard time liking the MMC.
These characters were complex and it was difficult to understand why they did the things they did. On multiple occasions I wanted the FMC to leave the MMC, but she stuck it out. This book had a lot going on, but I enjoyed it.

Wow intense
Intense, hot, intense, dangerous and a little on the dark side. I loved this book. The heroine bugged me at points in the book, but at the same time I couldn’t help but root for her. The narrator is fantastic. I do prefer dual narration with the hero and heroine being brought to life by their own narrator, but I must say the woman who narrated this book did a fantastic job and really helped me get lost in the story. She has distinct voices for each of the main and side characters and does a great job adding that little something extra to her performance to really bring the characters to life. By the end of this book I was looking for more books narrated by her.
As for the story I struggle with what to say because I don’t want to give anything away. Forewarning the Eva might bug you at points and Alexei might inspired the desire to punch the guy for some of his stupid, but overall the story is good. The author does a great job of drawing out the suspense and putting her characters through the ringer before finally giving them their happily ever after.
Overall I loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes some dark elements, but not a tone, and who likes steamy love stories to listen too.
A Major Misstep
Her Russian Beast is a shockingly, toxic romance that is jarring in its narrative focus and in its pacing. Her Russian Beast is without a doubt a major misstep.
