Hold Me Until Morning: Time River, Book 4 (Unabridged‪)‬

OMG this series is just absolutely amazing!! I'm in love with A.L. Jackson's writing. I listened to the audiobook and I have to say these narrators were amazing! Erin Mallon and Stephen Dexter kept me entertained through the whole book. Stephen's voice is definitely my new favorite male character voice is fire!! I fell in love with Hailey "Shortcake" and Cody!! These two have a past they need to overcome and as they reconnect and get through things you will fall in love with them. Maddie "Button" is Hailey's daughter and Lolly is her Grandma are great side characters. This book will give you a little bit of everything. There is suspense, love, SPICE, LOL moments, heartbreaking moments and moments that will just make you happy! I can't wait to read more of this series. I HIGHLY recommend this book!

It's hard to explain why I enjoyed this book so much without accidentally saying spoilers, but I will do my best!
This story was definitely enjoyable, and I especially like the fact that A.L. Jackson writes her flashback chapters in past tense so it's like we are looking in from the outside. The little clues we were getting as to why both main characters had guilt in one way or another had me constantly wanting more because I needed all of that tea to be spilt! I'll tell ya... definitely didn't expect that ending lol.
Cody and Hailey were the cutest together, and Cody's interactions with Hailey's girls were the cutest! I can't wait for everyone to read about them!

**I listened to the audiobook for Hold Me Unitl Morning which was narrated by Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon and it was a great production. I've always been a huge fan of Erin's, but Stephen did the dang thing in this one as well! Definitely felt like their voices fit the part perfectly.

Hold Me Until Morning was a great wrap-up to the Time River series. It's not a second-chance romance in the traditional sense since Cody and Hailey never technically dated, but there were strong feelings between them that grew that summer six years ago, and that spark is still there today, as strong as ever!

Recently separated from her husband, Hailey moves back to the area after several years away, living with her young daughter Maddie and grandmother Lolly in the house next door to Cody. As it turns out, Cody is also the landscaper working on a big project at the horse ranch where Hailey recently got a new job. Although they try to keep out of each other's way, they are drawn to one another like magnets.

But Cody is keeping a huge secret from Hailey from what went down that summer six years ago, and Hailey has a possessive ex who is determined to not let her go so easily. Will their pasts ruin any chance they have a present and future? I loved the twists and turns that this story took, and it was a joy to listen to narrators Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon as Cody and Hailey.

Grandma Lolly was a hoot, and I adored the sweet relationship that Maddie and Cody developed. I especially loved that AL Jackson gave an extended bonus scene from the perspective of all four guys, so we got to see where Caleb, Ryder, Ezra and Cody are a few years in the future with their loves. Well done!
