Cheers to Second Chances! Great Story & Narration🎧
‘Tis the season to be jolly… NOT! At least not for Elizabeth, topping it off, her brother’s wedding is happening during the holidays, and it is not a one-day event either. And if that is not bad enough, the airline lost her luggage, and there was no room at her childhood home for her to stay in. No worries though, her brother’s best friend, Nate, his best man at the wedding, offered to put her up in his extra room. Dandy, right? NOT!! Those two have a history, and it did not end well, but it will only be for two weeks, and they could manage that, the holidays and the wedding unscathed. Natasha Madison has a way with words, creating and penning a fabulously entertaining grumpy-sunshine, enemies-to-lovers second chance romance with hilarious banter and lots of heart. A wonderful, heartwarming story set around the holidays that you can enjoy any time of the year, a story that will captivate your attention and put a smile on your face.
🎧📚🎧 Jason Clarke and Samantha Cook were fantastic at bringing these characters to life, giving them voices that were fitting and believable in every role. Cook’s portrayal of Elizabeth was spot on, embodying her personality completely, and handled the witty dialogue effortlessly. Clarke was excellent as Nate, revealing all sides of his character, a natural in the role. Both were just as fabulous performing the roles of the secondary/side characters too. Their pacing and tone were ideal for the story, and they conveyed all the characters’ emotions in their performance, making you feel each one. They are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performance rivets you to the story.
