Grateful to have this knowledge

For anyone saying this is vegan propaganda, you clearly did not listen to or finish this audiobook. Dr. Greger many times says he doesn’t like saying vegan or vegetarian because both of those diets can be very unhealthy depending on the choices made by the person on that diet. He literally recommends whole plant based foods. He links every study as reference so you can see for yourself. He also spends a little time in the book saying that he is not perfect either and sometimes doesn’t eat perfectly because he is a human like the rest of us. If you are not ready to accept that animal products are not good for us then you won’t like his recommendations.

Great content, TERRIBLE narration

The content is awesome, but the voice narration is AWFUL. It was painful to listen to - strange breathe gaps and pauses as if the guy is a radio announcer or a melodramatic public speaker instead of someone reading a book. Outrageously distracting. Wish the author had hired a decent narrator who was more normal. Would not recommend this audiobook, but I WOULD recommend the traditional book version.

This book changed my life

If you only read one book about health and nutrition, let it be this one. Every single chapter is full of mind-blowing information that makes you go, “WHY has no one ever told me about this?!”

Since finishing the book, I’ve bought a hard copy for myself, my mom and my dad. I would absolutely recommend this to every person in my life. PLUS all of the proceeds from the book (and all of Dr. Greger’s other work) goes to charity, which just speaks volumes about the intention behind why the author wrote the book in the first place.

Do yourself a favor and buy this book. My diet and lifestyle have completely changed since reading it, and I’m so grateful to Dr. Greger for educating people on these important topics.
