A POTLUCK OF SUPERNATURAL CREATURES
I’ve read/listened to some of Molly’s other series featuring Jane. While I loved it, I think this one is going to be my favorite. The narrators did such an amazing job! I loved having a male and female narrator. Amanda was spot on for the main character. In her Jane Jameson novels, I never liked Jane’s voice in the audiobooks. But the books were great. Anyway, I loved all the characters in this debut of Mystic Bayou and I would so love to live there. Now that Bael is taken, I would like to get ahold of the mayor. He’s a bear shifter. I liked how a lot of the town folks played a big part in the book. Jillian has trouble guessing what kind of shifter Bael is. I felt like the pace of the romance part was just right. But if you don’t like romance in your books, this also makes for a great suspenseful murder mystery. It is equal parts romance and mystery. That’s what I liked most of all. There’s a serial killer on the loose but none of the victims have anything in common. Jillian worries it’s because of her being there to interview them for work. They are so accommodating and feed her so well that she’s really going to miss them when she leaves. There were a few twist and nice surprises at the end that I didn’t see coming. I can’t wait until the next one comes out. Please hurry!

This has been in my TBR forever. Finally, I decided to give it a whirl. It is a cute fun read; the only downfall is the mystery aspect is predictable, which drives me nuts.
I enjoyed all the characters in the story; they are fun and lively. I especially liked Mayor Zed, and I may have to read his book.
The love story between Jillian and Bael takes a bit to get going and honestly not, what I was expecting. However, it was cute, and I enjoyed it. I am giving How to Date Your Dragon 3.5 Boundless stars.
