Every book in all of Aimee's series, while supporting continuity, has a completely different plot and goes in a direction that you could never guess --- a werewolf drug cartel for the specific purpose of --- well, you'll just have to read it!
I love how Ember finds the strength, with the help of her One Special Person,
to follow her conscience and do what is right and what only she is able to do
to save the country and her own kind. It gives me hope and confidence that we can be and do more than we think we can, if we just reach out and cooperate with each other for the common good, no matter the risk. Boy, does Ember go out of her comfort zone all the time

If you love Patricia Briggs, You'll love Aimee Easterling just as much, and, of course, the reverse is true.
