"The Treasure has a feisty heroine, a swoon-worthy hero, well-developed major and minor characters, and enough twists and turns for a map to hidden pirate’s booty. The romance grew with the plot and characters and though the attraction between Celeste and Orion was powerful, it was definitely not “insta-love”. Since they both had strong personalities, and at times, conflicting motivations, they often clashed, which made the relationship fascinating. Overall, I found The Treasure entertaining, sexy, absorbing, surprising, and a lot of fun. I can’t wait to read all of Ms. McBride’s books." ~K. Smits
