If you're not daring to believe God for the impossible, you may be sleeping through some of the best parts of your Christian Life.
“This book is not a Snuggie. The words on these pages will not go down like Ambien. I’m not writing to calm or coddle you. With God’s help, I intend to incite a riot in your mind. Trip your breakers and turn out the lights in your favorite hiding places of insecurity and fear. Then flip the switch back on so that God’s truth can illuminate the divine destiny that may have been lying dormant inside you for years. In short, I’m out to activate your audacious faith. To inspire you to ask God for the impossible. And in the process, to reconnect you with your God-sized purpose and potential.”
—Steven Furtick, from Sun Stand Still
Sun Stand Still Audio Book
The message captured within this book challenges and inspires everyone who hears it to act in audacious faith. Not only does it allow you to better understand what audacious faith looks like but it also gives practical application on what audacious faith looks like now for all of us (students, mom's, business leaders).
This is a book you need to purchase for yourself and additional copies for your friends.
This book, I believe, is going to ignite a movement. Not only is it the best book I've read -- it's also the message that has activated my faith.
And well, to have an audio version of the book is, well, awesome.
My youth minister told us about this book today in Sunday school. We read Joshua where it talks about God granting the request of more time or sun light by stopping the sun in the sky for a day and a half. Man, if God was able to grant such a huge request of stopping time. Then who's to say he wont grant the smaller requests that we all have if we just trust him. Lord please help me be as trusting as Joshua. I'll be downloading this book shortly. I want to read the hard copy first. :)
Best Book Ever!
This was a book that I borrowed from a friend for a book report in school because I had to, but it has turned out to be an eyeopener for me. I am a teenager and this book spoke to me in a language that I could easily understand instead of some King James version that would be hard to understand. I reccommend this book to anyone and everyone. Loved this book!
