This young readers edition of the worldwide bestseller Three Cups of Tea has been specially adapted for younger readers and updated by Greg Mortenson to bring his remarkable story of humanitarianism up to date for the present.
amira and greg came to my school and spoke about pennies for peace and three cups of tea, and surprisingly, amira, who is 12 years old and in 7th grade, did most of it. she also sang the song, three cups of tes and she is a really good singer. also, this book is really good.
Greg Morteson had a great life-changing experience that made him want to help those less fortunate. I think that this book is great and can show what people can do for those not as fortunate as us. Most of us take our things for granted. Greg did all he could to help those in need. The book is wonderful.
Three Cups of Tea
This book is raw, honest, and a unique insight. Here is a man who gave himself to an impossible cause. His graphic description of the people and their habitat are enough to give you frostbite. Now when I hear the news, and the stories about terrorists hiding in the mountains of Pakistan, I think about the poor villagers caught in this political tug of war. Greg Mortenson does, what the rest of us wish we had the guts to do. He attacks a problem at its source. He is my hero.
