Ummm... Eh
The story is good but this was the slowest, longest book. It was a struggle to listen to the entire thing. Narrator is great. The emphasis on Julia's purity and innocence is uncomfortable to the point of feeling antiquated. The literary and music references are eye-roll inducing, slightly forced additions. Unclear why this book is so highly rated.
