everyone needs to live
I could write several pages about what this book represents. But i'll keep it and say that, to me, this book represents the sadly overlooked fact that EVERYONE, no matter how small( born or unborn) deserves to live. I love how Dr. Seuss captures that.
The World On The Small Speck Of Dust
This is my favorite Dr. Seuss story of all time! As a child, just to think about another world and other creatures existing on a small speck of dust, too small for your eyes too see, was a concept that took my young mind and just turned it upside-down. It also speaks to the power of trust and belief in oneself and that doing the right thing against all peer pressure and obstacles is all about character. I have read this story to my daughter so often that I have committed the whole thing to memory. With an Oscar Winner like Dustin Hoffman reading this version, how can you go wrong. Bravo!
a must read for every person!
this is an awesome story defining a critical issue that we all see now. this book could of been inspired for those who fought for the end of the slave trade, or maybe the people who started and lead the civil rights movement.......but even greater it is a call for people to understand the truth behind abortion. you will hear of this book and the real reasons it was written....mark my words a year from now. :-)
