A book on persuasion tactics without discourse on the ethics of its use is a bit irresponsible. Some interesting information on persuasion, bias and worldview that is entirely wrapped around D.J. Trump. Have there been no other “master” persuaders in the political realm that could be used for context? What the author calls masterful weapons grade persuasion I call lying, hyperbole and bullying, I don’t care how it’s framed. Also a fair amount of ego and life-choice justification coming from the writer, which I felt unnecessary.
Authors generally shouldn’t read their own stuff. Other than that it held some interesting observations on human behavior.
