The Power of Great Leadership

What a beautiful break away from the monotonous tone and talk your hear everyday about this wonderful country while it is in a state of upheaval. I wish people could direct their attention to the silver linings and positive attributes of our nation and its people; who have and are currently using to change the stale mindset that has corrupted our way of living for so long and imposed a discriminatory stereotypical reputation for all Americans to overcome. Stop chasing the presidents name everywhere you can find it only to ridicule and criticize the mans efforts. It's quite honestly a unforgivable shame that he has to enter into his presidency trying to revive so many aspects of out government that have been violated and abused by self interest politicians and corporations. If you raise up only to state the obvious misfortunes that even your own lack of concern for your community has also contributed to, you are precisely the type of American thinking the rest of us real Americans are waiting for you and it to die off. So as loud as you are talking, you're simply magnifying how many people really feel completely opposite from you. Thank you President Obama for setting the example of how to rise above the simple mindedness and still press forward with class in preserving the legacy the american dream holds for so many people who are the substance of what the American dream was built on. I'll be sharing this book with my children tonight.

Exceptionally beautiful.

I think that this book is a wonderful and inspiring "letter" that can not only help kids to realize their dreams and goals, but also to honor the accomplishments that those before us have already made. It's a wonderful book, that pushes us to look inside of ourselves and realize how wonderfully created we are and how we have the power to make a dent in the world.

And to tiereakcga: Obama wrote and finished this book BEFORE he became president so you're arguement is purely ignorant, not to mention the money that it's "not worth" goes towards scholarships to the children of soldiers fallen in combat. To me, that seems pretty worth it.
