Thank you for your telling me your life s story so far. Even dipping into stuff that shouldn t be considered part of a book (IMO). Yet I can see how much it helped to define you.
{Obviously this is one of my first Audio book reviews. Any errors are strictly the reviewer s.}
I started listening to this book, figuring I d listen for a bit and then do some other stuff. I ll never know what I was planning on because her reading is much the same as her music.
It picks up the listener and carries them along for the ride. In a way, it doesn t surprise me, that this book is almost exclusively spoken with very little of her music 🎶 playing. When she has music in the background, it is at a very poignant point in the book.
She describes how she managed to carve out a very unique knitch in the music world. While proving that it is possible to get ahead of the status quo while maintaining your personal beliefs and convictions.
Personally, I m glad for the “Lindsey Stirlings” of the world 🗺, because only having the usuals to choose from (in whatever genres) is so limiting.
I can t wait for the next album, book, whatever comes out of her talented artistic mind.
