Publisher Description
Unsinkable is the definitive memoir by film legend and Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds.
In Unsinkable, the late great actress, comedienne, singer, and dancer Debbie Reynolds shares the highs and lows of her life as an actress during Hollywood’s Golden Age, anecdotes about her lifelong friendship with Elizabeth Taylor, her experiences as the foremost collector of Hollywood memorabilia, and intimate details of her marriages and family life with her children, Carrie and Todd Fisher.
A story of heartbreak, hope, and survival, “America’s Sweetheart” Debbie Reynolds picks up where she left off in her first memoir, Debbie: My Life, and is illustrated with previously unpublished photos from Reynolds’s personal collection.
Debbie Reynolds died on December 28, 2016, at the age of 84, just one day after the death of her daughter, actress and author Carrie Fisher.

A MUST READ
Just as I was as fond of her first memoir, this continuance is outstanding. This is an enormously talented woman who has a great story to tell. She's funny, frank and honest...and there are lessons to learn! The greatest being to stay positive and keep your sense of humor. Even big stars make mistakes and have heartbreaks...they are human, too! Ms. Reynolds is as human and real as they come...as wonderfully human as they come. I devour actor bios...you name it, I've read it...and this is one of the very best! Love ya, Debbie!

I purchased the audio version because it's easier for me to work and listen to Debbie. If you are considering purchasing this item to learn about Debbie and her films you will be disappointed. Debbie is UNSINKABLE and the book catalogs her endless legal battles to unload her 3rd husband (1984-1996) and salvage her Hollywood memorabillia collection and Las Vegas hotel. You will respect Debbie and appreciate her stamina particularly if you've been through a divorce but this book is only for those who are curious about her recent years and undeserved legal woes.
