Publisher Description

From Reggie “Fieldy” Arvizu, legendary bassist of nu-metal pioneers KORN, comes Got the Life: a no-holds-barred look at his extreme highs, drug- and-booze-fueled lows, and, finally, redemption through a conversion to Christianity. Got the Life is simultaneously an insider’s look at rock n’ roll superstardom—the good, the bad, and everything in between—and a survivor’s story of a life brought back from the precipice by a new found belief in religious salvation.

Inspiring on many levels

I was never a HUGE Korn fan, but I am a fan of anyone who can turn their life around, give up selfish behavior and find purpose....I think this story was a much better story than Nikki Sixx who still seems to really not have a meaning to his life..
Even if you aren't religious this is a great story not just about recovery but of learning to humble ones self, even when you are a huge mega rock star. Haven't read Head's book yet, but will....saw him in a health store here in Scottsdale the other day...
I was really surprised by this one and have a new found respect for Fieldy
This isn't a preachy story either, something I appreciated...it was REAL...

Awesome!! :D

I've read the book, and I found it great that Fieldy's found Christ along with Head before it was too late. And the audiobook form of it is great, the only downfall is that it's not read by Fieldy himself.
Now all iTunes has to do now is get an audiobook form of Head's 'Save Me From Myself' and it would be great.
I strongly reccomend this to any Korn fan!
