Wild!
Some freaky cosmic horror!
I love the characters, the setting is a museum of junk with a portal to a strange realm. I felt echos of Annihilation and small town tail between your legs drama. Loved it!
Fun story
This was a bit slow to start, but honestly I’m so glad I stuck it out. I loved the second half of this book and truly love T. Kingfishers books. It’s beautifully written and quirky in the most amazing way!
Meh
This book wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. Like some other reviewers have said, there’s a lot of attempted humor in this book but it wasn’t funny. The characters were just so blasé about their situation. They just seemed bored. I felt no connection with them. This book had so much potential but it fell flat.
