Publisher Description

Trish Garret is a good girl who may or may not be wanted by the law.

A poor decision in her past has her on the run, keeping a low profile while working waitress jobs at local watering holes. But during her latest stop in Houston, she’s managed to make herself a great group of friends she’s always wanted and never had.

When a private detective shows up at her Airstream trailer asking questions, Trish takes it as a sure sign it’s time to pick up stakes and skedaddle. But with her new best friend getting married, Trish is reluctant to leave before the wedding. Biting the bullet, she asks the one man she’s had a hard time hiding her heart from for help.

NASA flight controller Ian Kincaid has spent his life second-guessing the motives of people close to him thanks to the political maneuverings of his father, a Texas state senator. But when he hears a petite brunette in a bar holler “Yoo hoo” in a southern accent thicker than honey and just as sweet, Ian starts making maneuvers of his own.

But after months of false starts, Ian thinks he and his dream girl might never be—until the day she comes calling for help.

Ian agrees to let Trish hide out, trailer and all, on his property where she’ll be free from both prying and private eyes. But only if she’ll pretend to be his girlfriend when his father shows up, intending to push his son into a politically-motivated marriage.

Between warrants, political fundraisers, nosey housewives, and drunken bridesmaids, can Trish and Ian rendezvous to love?

Or will their pasts throw them out of orbit?

Ian Is My Favorite!

Samantha Brentmoor & Lee Samuels are back at it, narrating another amazing installment in Sarah L. Hudson’s Space series. I fell hard for book 1, loved book 2, but this book? Book 3???? It is absolute perfection!

Trish and Ian. Ian and Trish. Two characters I will not forget! Every minute of their story, I fell harder and hard for them. I felt myself become a part of them!

Their banter and the sparks that flew between really kept me hooked throughout! As someone who has claustrophobia and overthink things, I truly felt a connection while listening to this book.

I definitely sing praises for this audiobook and highly recommend it! 5★ all the way!

Greer book with amazing narration

This is the third book in the Space series and it is as great as the first two. Julie is a hoot and is keeping secrets from everyone…it’s why she doesn’t want to get close to anyone for fear her true identity will be revealed. Ian is as sweet as can be and is smitten with Julie but knows she’s hiding something. He puts himself out there to protect her. He’s fighting his own battles with some family drama. Julie and Ian are opposite but they are so good together. I love their banter and determination to help one another in the most selfless ways. Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels continue to make this series so fantastic with their narration. I love how they change their voices, accents and delivery for each character. I love how audiobooks give a whole new experience to enjoying a story.

Fun rom com audiobook

Space Oddities is the third book in a series of interconnected stand alones. You don't need to read either of the previous books in the series to enjoy this one, though the same characters do appear in all three. I liked that the heroine was an author. I always think it's interesting for authors to write about authors. The story was a fun fake but not fake relationship, and facing fears was a significant part of the storyline.

The audiobook is performed by Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels. Together they make a rock solid narration team. They were easy to listen to and they added emotion and energy to the story.

I received a copy of the audiobook at my request, and the opinions here are my own.
