Funny with great narration
This book is so funny, filled with fun characters and a different type of premise for the story. Jackie is awkward, funny and brilliant. Flynn is quite taken with Jackie but due to family history he’s not looking for a relationship.
As with most couples they run into some challenges due to misunderstandings and they just need to communicate! But when things are good…they are good - smokin hot.
Highly recommend this fun and entertaining read.
Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels did a fantastic job. Samantha has become one of my favorite narrators…I love her voice and delivery of the characters. This is my first listen to Lee Samuel’s and I really enjoyed his narration. He brought great emotion to the characters.

My first Sara L Hudson book, has me laughing out loud and falling in love! Fun, quirky characters and an original storyline had me at the first chapter. Jackie is a nerdy, converse wearing NASA engineer, with dreams of being an astronaut. After taking her friend, Jules, advice and going out, she finds herself taking her drunk friend Rose home. There she meets Flynn, Rose's handsome brother. But the interest he takes in her can't be real, right? And if it is, it won't last. History has shown that. Flynn is intrigued with the wannabe astronaut, but when push comes to shove, and Jackie gets her dream, will Flynn be on board with it? Fun, flirty, humorous, quirky, this story has it all. The characters are lovable and relatable. The story is fun, romantic and exciting! I love strong heroines, and Jackie is the best! Hudson has me hooked and I will be listening to more!
Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels bring this fun, unconventional listen alive with a phenomenal narration. Both of these talented narrators have spot on comedic timing and pinpoint each personality with perfect precision. I love their chemistry and the performances.
Great narration, smart female lead, lots of laughs
This is the first Sara L Hudson book I've read/listened to. Jackie and Flynn's story stands alone, though there are a bunch of fun characters introduced and I'm excited to read more of the series to see what's in store for them. I liked the writing style which contains a lot of good comparisons to really illustrate points. I also like that the female lead is smart.
The audiobook is performed by Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels. Together they make a rock solid narration team. They were easy to listen to and they added emotion and energy to the story.
