Publisher Description
Stephanie Plum returns to hunt down a new kind of criminal operating out of Trenton in the twenty-eighth book in the wildly popular series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Janet Evanovich.
When Stephanie Plum is woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of footsteps in her apartment, she wishes she didn’t keep her gun in the cookie jar in her kitchen. And when she finds out the intruder is fellow apprehension agent Diesel, six feet of hard muscle and bad attitude whom she hasn’t seen in more than two years, she still thinks the gun might come in handy.
Turns out Diesel and Stephanie are on the trail of the same fugitive: Oswald Wednesday, an international computer hacker as brilliant as he is ruthless. Stephanie may not be the most technologically savvy sleuth, but she more than makes up for that with her dogged determination, her understanding of human nature, and her willingness to do just about anything to bring a fugitive to justice. Unsure if Diesel is her partner or her competition, she’ll need to watch her back every step of the way as she works to draw Wednesday out from behind his computer and into the real world in this “action-packed caper filled with crazy twists and some nail-biting suspense” (Booklist, starred review).
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
In this pulse-pounding thriller, an internationally renowned hacker decides to begin a reign of terror in, of all places, Trenton, New Jersey. Tenacious bounty hunter Stephanie Plum has been roped into trying to stop a dangerous cybercriminal’s revenge plot alongside her flirtatious (and brutally hot) colleague Diesel, complicating her relationship with longtime boyfriend Detective Joe Morelli. Janet Evanovich throws us right into this high-stakes plot, populating it with fun supporting characters like Stephanie’s wisecracking assistant, Lula, and her hilarious Grandma Mazur. Narrator Lorelei King gives the whole cast of personalities their own flavor, and we love how the rip-roaring action is always punctuated with some witty banter or an enjoyable meal at Stephanie’s parents’ house. Game On is a fun mystery that’s as likely to make you gasp as it is to make you laugh out loud.

Fantastic As Always!
I have listened to every single one of her books. This book is filled with suspense, drama, romance and comedy. Janet is the best author out there and this book does not disappoint!
never heard of it but quite wanna know more about
heard a lil but mot much but always caught my attention, i like it to be quiet honest but never read about it
Another winner!
I continue to enjoy the antics of Stephanie Plum, Lula and Grandma Mazur! Anxiously awaiting “The Recovery Agent” in March…Gabriela Rose is a mystery. Can’t wait to hear what her story is. And what a treat if she and Stephanie Plum work together every now and then. Maybe Gabriela can end up with Ranger and we will see how Stephanie will feel about that….
